Bylaws and governance
The bylaws of the school were adopted by the City Council of Lolland Municipality on 25 March 2021. And revised on the 1 January 2023.

The school is based on the law on Municipal International Basic Schools.
It is a law that renders it possible to establish international basic school offers under municipal auspices, as an independent offer outside the framework of the Folkeskole Act.
