Whole Grains Day

We ate different kinds of oatmeal for breakfast to celebrate this year's Whole Grain Day. As homework, each student had to research, if possible, try a few toppings at home, before bringing their favorite topping to enjoy oatmeal for a shared breakfast in class. This was a fun experience that allowed students to try something new and some were inspired by their home culture. We hope the experience gives our students a new appreciation for healthy breakfast options.
